Adding HTML to the Sidebar?

Hi there
I am trying to add some HTML to the sidebar, but the messages system doesnt add the facebook fanpage stream that I need to add... how do i go about doing this?
I want the facebook page to be visible in the sidebar on everypage as well as how to add the images above the ask a question like it is here?
