Vanilla fully extended!

edited November 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hey guys... Just wanted to share with you what can be done with Vanilla!! I already show you my World of Warcraft theme, but now you can see it with full extensions enabled. I'm talking about:
- Raid Tracker
- Guild Roster
- Gallery (Menalto's one)
- New members
- Latest Loot
- Even some snowy christmas extension :)

Check it out: www.wow-myst.com

I've changed NOTHING in Vanilla's core!! Extensions only!!

looks cool :) is that a multi-user gallery? and if it is, are the user accounts shared between that and vanilla? like, one log-in / sign-up etc etc?

Very Nice!! Thankx for showing what can be done with Vanilla. I have same question as Chris. Fo Menalto's gallery is the login/signup integrated. I like their gallery.

wow. very cool jazz! conceptually nice extensions and a design that perfectly fits the audience.

Too be honest :) No, I haven't done the sharing thing with gallery. Only one administrator account. Gallery 2 uses another kind of password encrypting. Not MD5... With the new Vanilla it will be easier, because logins and signups can be triggered by events.

Good lord that is a beautiful theme.

By the way, there is still that avatar error in Firefox that was mentioned in the last thread.

    That's hot.

Indeed it's very nice. Even if i dont know what half of it's even about (since i dont play wow) and the falling snow irritates me ever so slightly. It's a very nice implementation of vanilla nontheless.

How is the Guild Roster implemented is the information hard coded?

    wonderful!

Good god! That must be the most perfect site I have ever seen for a WoW guild. Hehe, nice, you even have few Finnish in your guild. I have much respect for you, you are like King Terenas Menethil :D

Clicking on notes or ranks in your guild roster produces an error. It looks like a typo in your database queries (cote instead of note and cank instead of rank).

Just wondering if you plan on releasing any of these wonderful extensions Jazzman? I have to say, very good job on your website, it's a perfect site for WoW!

    Pretty cool!

How did you do the category icons? is it a publically available extension?

it's all CSS there, each category is assigned a class, ie: Category_1 , Category_2 and so on...Jazzman simply attached his own fixed BG to those classes he defined for his stylesheet, and now he has the icons you see. This is all providing all of your categories are original and you haven't deleted any as that kills ordering.

being a WoW nerd myself I must say that that rules, my guild uses phpbb and I hate it, I'd rather switch to that =) well done though

@Jazzman: Did you ever release the Raid Tracker extension? I'm putting together a WoW forum for a friend and it'd be really useful.

What host are you using, those pages are loading extremely fast compared to mine...
