Anyone know why "Google AJAX Feed" won't work? Vanilla 2

Hi I would really like to use this cool Google AJAX Feed so people can see my news updates whilst on the forum but for some reason it wont work. I've been copying the code into a "messages" box, if I'm doing something wrong there please let me know.
