How to modify the number of comments displayed by GET or POST

Is there a way to change the number of comments displayed on a single page by altering the URL or sending information through POST?

p1 = page 1
10 = 10 comments per page

So that URL would get you the first 10 comments in this discussion.
p2/10 would get you the 2nd 10 comment. p5/50 would get you the 5th page, where each page has 50 comments.

Thanks for the answer Tim. But unfortunately that doesn't work on the forum that I wanted to use that feature on.

Is it a custom feature, something that has to be installed or turned on in the configuration?

Was it added on a recent update?

I found out that the forum is on Vanilla 1.1, the URLs syntax is similar to the followings:

http://obscuredforumaddr.com/discussion/11602/sample-topic/
http://obscuredforumaddr.com/discussion/11602/1/sample-topic/
http://obscuredforumaddr.com/discussion/11602/2/sample-topic/

Is there a way to achieve the same paging control on this version?

Hi @rjmco,

Unfortunately we no longer directly support Vanilla 1.x, and I myself have never even installed it, let alone looked at the code. The only way to really get an answer to this is to see if the community at large can help you. There are people in here who have used and contributed to Vanilla 1.
