interoperability vs vanilla based alternatives
obviously anyone that follows the vanilla forums knows im a fan of vanilla based alternatives, but i would like to hear other possible thoughts and ideas on the subject. There has been a large effort to create apps/addons to merge vanilla and wordpress together for things llike single sign on, and even vanilla themes that match wordpress themes 
. Understanding that wordpress is very popular, a great blogging tool, and will help with spreading the vanilla project to a wider audience, I think our resources would be better spent developing a simplistic/vanilla blogging alternative. Maybe im undermining the amount of effort it would take to achieve such a task.
