Error Installing Vanilla Forums: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed
Wasn't sure where to put this but just a quick note for anyone else who has the same error as I did.
If you are installing without a htaccess file and receive this error, first make a blank .htaccess file in your forums root folder (weird, but it works, Vanilla didn't want to budge unless I had it.)
Second, I didn't have to/need to but one thing could be to check the permissions on where your PDO_MYSQL socket is being used.
