Can't get the embed vanilla to work.

I installed a full install of Vanilla on my site at http://www.covertcommunications.com/vanilla

I then activated the embed plugin and downloaded the WP plugin.

I installed the WordPress plugin on my site. It had a bunch of errors at the top but I have seen that with other plugins that worked OK so I ignored it.

I went back to the forum admin panel and copied the code and then pasted the code into the Wordpress plugin box. Here is the code:

I then went to my site and clicked on the Discussions page that was created. It was blank with the edit button on the bottom. Nothing on the page at all.

I then uninstalled and re-installed the plugin on Wordpress. That didn't work.

I then disabled the plugin and created a blank page and pasted the javascript code into a blank page under the HTML tab. This time I got a page that had an embedded page but the embedded page was a replica of my site with a 404 page not found error.

Not sure what the issue is and can't seem to figure it out myself.

Can anyone here guide me in the right direction?
