Log out only logs me out of wordpress but not vanilla

When I try to log out on vanilla only my wordpress is logged out, my vanilla forum still says that I am logged in. When I log in to a different account on wordpress and visit my vanilla forum I am still logged in on vanilla as my old user

Make sure your Cookie Domain is set to ".domain.com" (obviously replacing that with your own site's domain). Same for wordpress.

My cookie domain is set to .domain.com for both Vanilla and Wordpress

Does using WPMU/WPMS have anything to do with it?

It used to be a plugin to WordPress but I don't think it should be a problem anymore because it's no longer a plugin on the latest WordPress version,

Isn't there supposed to be a value for wpnonce? My logout url is
