Wordpress 3 + Vanilla 2

I just installed newest WP and Vanilla. Just as many people here and out in the web I have no final solution on the following questions:

How do i make Vanilla 2 use the WP Theme?

How do i make Vanilla and WP use the same user database(bridge to either use wp user management or vanilla user management)?

Thanks, the proxy connect plugin seems quite fine and is all i need for user management.

But I am skeptical towards this embed plugin.... i want my website to be usable without any Javascript. Javascript should only required for nice extra effects, but not for a whole board to function.
Therefore i really want to include the wp theme(-functions) in vanilla theme.

for example if someone uses firefox-noscript, disabled javascript or uses an old browser the forum would not work...

If you disable javascript, most websites don't work.

But if that's what you want, then you will need to create your own theme to look like your website. It's not that hard, and there is documentation on how to accomplish it here: http://vanillaforums.org/page/Configuration-DashboardAppearanceThemes

if i use the embed plugin, whats about SEO? google will not be able to search a javascript.

Your forum will still exist on the web, and anyone who access it directly can be automatically forwarded to the blog-embedded version and retain their current page. Its sort of win/win.
