FileUpload attachment size and type

Hi all, how can I add some attachment file type and change the maximum size of the upload?

thanks tim, I tried but I have this problem:
I added a new file extension .sto but if I upload a .sto file, no error is given, but look what's happen:

here seems all right, but if I click the file, this is the link:
http://mysite.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/download/false/LMLimeRockRGV2.sto

if I rename it into .txt the link is this:
http://mysite.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/download/5/LMLimeRockRGV2.sto.txt

and if I zip (the zip is also allowed...
http://mysite.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/download/false/LMLimeRockRGV2.sto.zip

and only the .txt file is really uploaded and works in the post... what can I do to solve this??
