the code works just fime but instead of the popular icons its just text e.g facebook stumble myspace... how can i set the codes to use the icons instead of text?

Are you using an ad blocker? Maybe the image permissions are not readable? Maybe the path to the images is wrong. Did you rename anything?

yes, i use ad block and my ad blocker doesnt block content without my permission. And no, i didnt edit or rename anything. downloaded, unzipped and in the plugins folder.

Hi brujah, concerning the images on my share link, i seriously didnt even open a single file after download, just sent it directly to my plugins folder and enabled in dashboard, else nothing more... browsing the file locally, i see the images in

shareme/images/default/16

The folder name should be ShareMe. So for the facebook image your url might be:
http://yourforum.com/plugins/ShareMe/images/default/16/facebook.png
or if installed in a folder then maybe
http://yourforum.com/forums/plugins/ShareMe/images/default/16/facebook.png

Do either of those work for you?

how can we modify sharing links?

@HerkesUzman, I'll try an idea to make it easier to add your own shares. I'll post an update when I've finished.

I've updated the method of adding shares, to using a configuration file called shareme.ini, for convenience. Try this new version, and open that file in your preferred text editor to see how to add new shares. ShareMe v1.02
