Database Structure Upgrade

I'm seeing
update GDN_User User set
Permissions = '';
In my dashboard/utility/structure/all after upgrading to 2.0.16, any way to get rid of these or see what's causing it?

    Why?

    After user login, permissions sets according to role(s).

    Except you notice that it's an empty and invalid query, and it doesn't go away.

    Bump.

    Seems this is related to users not being able to view their profiles as well. Since I can't actually run all the database updates as they are invalid queries, something is amiss here with vanilla.
