Getting notified of new posts

Hello,

How can I get notified of new posts to my forum ?
Does the vanilla forum have an Rss feed that I could hook up to my rss reader or is there another way to know that a user has posted something new ?

Your forum should already have an RSS feed for discussions, but you can also use the EmailSubscribe plugin to get an email when new discussions are created.
