I want a sonos

Simply the best innovation in the entire universe. God knows what took them so long.

I'm getting a projector for my birthday so i'm looking for media players and whatnot to go with it. Unfortunately the sonos is *way* out the present budget. I'm *so* tempted to dump my own money on it though. Sexy bitch.

If only you could control pics/films/tv with it it'd be the fucking bomb.

    I really want one of thsoe too. They look so damn good. I wouldn't mind a projector either. Hell, I there's a lot of things I wouldn't mind.

    I really don't see the point for those wireless media diggitydoos. I have wireless set of mouse and keyboard that I can take from my "office" and go to the living room, my computer is connected to the TV and Stereos there so I can listen to music and watch movies in my living room while my computer is in the other room. It's the same thing without some useless and expensive wireless gadget.

    but admittedly it's less cool. And if you costed up the cables and cards and stuff to hook that to every room in your house it'd soon add up. Not as much as the sonos, granted. But still. It's cool.

    I like the notion of a pre-built system for all this, but if you look at the hardware involved, you can easily build your own. And with that said, you could also save yourself some cash in the process. If you have the know-how, you can easily string rj45 through your walls and out of properly mounted telephone-style sockets to have connectivity throughout your entire place :) or you can do it all wifi, whatever the choice may be, I think doing it yourself might prove more interesting :)
