Twitter Registration rejects email

edited January 2011 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
When a user logs in via twitter, their email is put as username@foo.com. This means that the user will never receive login credentials via e-mail. Is there a way that we can have a redirect (after they connect via twitter) to their profile so they can then set their email and then the notification gets sent? I know the twitter api disallows scraping a users email, but there should be a way to have them set it so they get notified of their login details (and obviously other notifications).
