I think I have the same question as the following post -- although I couldn't find the mentioned forums:

I'd like to embed a specific category on a page. For example, I'd like to display a map with interesting things to do in the area- and underneath, embed the appropriate things to do category (with voting ability). This is separate from the rest of the forum.
Is this currently possible using the embed plugin? I'm already using Vanilla forums so to be able to implement it in different ways across my site by simply embedding different categories would be fantastic-- one system to rule them all. Does the embed feature support this?
