vanilla stats not working

on the upgrade that included vstats it did work for that one day, i am now updated to .08 and stats hasnt worked except for that one day from 2.17.01 or so .. everything is just listed as zero, which i know isnt right i usually have around 100-200 page views a day per piwik


any ideas?
