Google Authentication Error, Twitter/Facebook Authentication Error

I am receiving the following error upon enabling sign in with Google on Vanilla .17 running IIS 7.5 + PHP FastCGI, MySQL 5.

The page that you requested is invalid.

And also the following when enabling Twitter or Facebook 
Data truncated for column 'AssociationHashMethod' at row 1|Gdn_Database|Query|insert GDN_UserAuthenticationProvider 
(AuthenticationSchemeAlias, URL, AssociationSecret, AssociationHashMethod, AuthenticationKey) 
values (:AuthenticationSchemeAlias, :URL, :AssociationSecret, :AssociationHashMethod, :AuthenticationKey)

    The latest twitter, facebook, google and openid plugins are most definitely broken for us. With the auth module issues being potentially so disruptive, has anyone else though of using a 3rd party authenticator for twitter, facebook, google & openid, and then using Vanilla Connect to log users into Vanilla?
