Macworld Keynote 2006
Only 8 more hours to go!
I think we might certainly hear about Intel iBooks or Mac Minis, but they sure as hell won't be shipping before March.

What I'm excited is that Apple might be introducing a new Mac OS X version for the x86 platform.
I fail to see how the "OSX for everyone" plan benefits Apple at all. Clearly, they take the same view.
Which basically is that there isn't going to be an official Mac OS X for PCs, just for Macs. But mark my words, there is definedly going to be some sort of port out in 6months tops.
It just makes the OS easier to make really doesn't it? They don't have to cater for some many different combinations of hardware/setups as Microsoft do. If they were to make it available for everyone I'm sure they'd soon see the same sort of problems as Microsoft do now.
I'd still like to try it though
On with the piracy
EDIT: Two minutes
Mac OS X x86 seems to run surprisingly well on standard x86 computers though. It'll be interesting to see if they can crack the final release, and if the updates will work after that. It wouldn't surprise me if Apple has some plan to make sure that just geeks have the capability to run Mac OS X x86 on any PC, so that they'll drive adoption.
Heh, sucks to be Griffin...
