making Lussumo completely exclusive

edited January 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi. I'm a new user and Lussumo is great so far. I'd like to have a forum that is completely inaccessible until you've entered you've logged in. I don't want outside people to be able to view any of the posts until they've been approved for membership. Is this something that would be comparably easy to accomplish? I'm not an experienced coder, but I do have good friends that would help me as long as it doesn't take hours. Thanks.

  • Thats the standard setup of vanilla, dude! If you install the forum and go into settings->application settings, there's an option 'Allow non-members to browse the forum' If that box aint ticket, aint noone seeing your forum without a login.
  • Thanks Minisweeper! If nothing else, I hope my question proved that even the clueless can successfully install Lussumo and make it this far. Works!
