Problem with plugins loading

edited February 2011 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
Hello there,

Im pretty new to this kind of forumtype, hopped over from PHPBB3 to vanilla now.
I want to install vanilla plugin and some other ones aswell.

But wen i place them into my plugin folder (readed some tutorials and other problem topics already) but they just wont show up on my dashboard.
I reinstalled it even twice and even tried doing it on a different location. It just doesnt seem to accept the plugins to enable m, i got now 5 plugins(newones) installed in the map, yet i keep seeing all - 0 Enabled - 0 Disabled - 0

Kinda losing my ehm patience with it slowly :p

hope someone can help

    1) Did you unzip the zip files in your plugin folder or did you just place the zipfiles?
    2) Look in your plugin folder, how many directories do you see, how many files do you see?
    3) All plugins should have their own directory and inside a directory should be the files belonging to your plugin
    4) For example : minify plugin. If you look in your plugins directory you have to see a directory called "minify" or similar to that. Inside that directory should be a file called minify.plugin.php or similar to that.
It's strange that the default plugins don't show in your Vanilla plugin manager.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

mmh cant add pictures in here, so cant show the SS i took.
    it are not zipfiles,
if i go into my plugin folder i see indeed maps like minify etc
and if i go into the minify directory it shows "class.minify.plugin.php"

I find it strange aswell, my server does support php else i wouldnt even be able to make my php databse to this is kinda why im lost

    Thanks for replyin tho :D
