User lost most of his discussion text when trying to post
Here's the description of the problem:
http://openfarmtech.org/forum/discussion/66/why-does-vanilla-truncate-postss/p1
We have Vanilla version 2.0.17.8
Any ideas of what could have caused this, and how to avoid it in the future?
Thanks!

However, that doesn't really solve the mystery, since if a comment hits the limit set on that page, Vanilla won't allow you to post, saying something like "Body is 12603 characters too long." in red. This doesn't reload the page, and doesn't make you loose your text - you're given the chance to edit it to make it shorter.
The problem reported here involves loosing most of your original text, and having no warning message about that, so I believe it was caused by something else.
As far as I remember actually code has trim command, so this is also related to this setting.
