Spam user joins (shows up in Activity list)*

I have the latest vanilla running with the join-via-twitter/google/etc plugins all running.

Every day in my activity i see a lot of lines like "itzThustysfugsgmann joined." .... a lot of take user joins. no spam posts so thats good but its clutering up the user list and the activity log.

any advice?

So through process of elimination, it seems like these bots are able to defeat ReCaptcha for signing up.

just a matter of time until these bots/scripts are updated to make posts on vanilla installs.
