IU on starting a new (private) conversation

Hi there,
I am not sure who to address this to but when we use the private conversation application by clicking "Send XXX a Message" on the profile view screen, once the message is drafted and you hit "Start Conversation" rather than a nice "your message has been sent" we're getting it refreshing back to the new message screen with the form still populated and no "success" or other message.
I wonder if there's a quick and easy fix for this?
