Is there an addon for putting discussion list in the sidepanel?

I am currently working on switching from vanilla 1 to vanilla 2. One of the key addons we use in Vanilla 1 is called Latest Discussions Prime. Has anyone implemented something similar for Vanilla 2? It basically puts the discussion list in the sidepanel, along with numbers indicating the number of comments in the discussion and the number of new comments.

almost four years later and I'm still using Vanilla 1 because I still haven't seen a way to put the latest discussions in the panel on Vanilla 2. Anyone know of anyone who's doing something like that?

Have looked in the addons section for "latest"? I find there http://vanillaforums.org/addon/latestpostlist-plugin and http://vanillaforums.org/addon/latestcomment-plugin

I must admit I cannot really think of what you are looking for. If you can describe what you are thinking of more detailed, we maybe could get yet to the current version.

If you don't update you risk your forum being hacked. Then you will have lost years of work and effort and users.
