colors for Vanilla version 2.0.17.8 theme

Hey, I have a header image that I would like to include, and I'd like to match colors with the theme. Where can I find the theme color codes (specifically the light blue background color on the default vanilla 2 theme)?

    I suggest you Firefug to catch where each setting exist.

    Applications? Is that in vanilla, wordpress, or something else. I don't see an applications link. Sorry - I'm pretty green at this.

    Probably easiest to just use the extension "firebug" in firefox or just right click in chrome to "inspect element" to see what the color code of each feature is. Fuddling in the vanilla files might just take longer.
