For security reasons, you must pass the remote ip to reCAPTCHA

I have just installed 2.0.17.9 and am trying to 'Apply for Membership' on my own Vanilla Forum. Every time I try and sign up, I am sent to a blank page that says, 'For security reasons, you must pass the remote ip to reCAPTCHA'

I've confirmed that my public and private keys are correct in vanilla_folder/conf/config.php.

Does someone know why this error might be occurring?
