Adding fields to the registration

Hi,

I've searched the forum and the plugin's section, but haven't had much luck yet. There's a few topics in the forum that seem to have out-dated links to plugin's which allow you to add extra fields to the registration page, but none of them work at the moment (and whether they work with vanilla 2 is probably unknown as well).

I looked through the models abit but I think it might be a little over my head unfortunately. I'm hoping there's a way to accomplish this in vanilla 2.0.

I've just been toying around with Vanilla. So far so good, but as the OP mentioned, it would be nice to have us to modify the user registration. The links mentioned do seem to be outdated.

Appreciate any help in this regards.
