Unable to enable Plugin

I just downloaded fileupload-plugin-1.4.0.zip, extracted the content to the plugins folder and am trying to enable it in Vanilla 2.0.17.9 when I receive the error:

FileUpload is missing the following requirement(s): Vanilla 2.0.9

What could be the problem?

A reinstall of Vanilla fixed the problem
