show how many "New" discussions / comments on categories listing
Hello,
currently I have the default homepage view of the forum = Categories
but there's no indication on this homepage if there's a new discussion or comment inside any of these categories, so how do i count all new discussions / comments posted on a category and show "X New" below the category name (Inside div class="Meta")

I have a similar question to Emadello here.
Has anyone gone down the route of marking categories on the Categories Panel (right side panel) display an indicator when 1 or more new comments are in them for the currently logged in user? Similar to what happens today when looking at a Discussion List they are marked with a yellow count of new comments - but for the Category List. I've had a few users ask for it.
