$TotalRecords value not getting sent to Pager

On my forum, the Pager is not appearing because $TotalRecords is coming through as 0 in /applications/dashboard/modules/class.pagermodule.php.
I can't figure out what is calling the Pager, and why it's not sending the correct value.
Someone else had this problem and wasn't able to resolve it. http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/15707/pager-not-showing-up ... For some reason, that post isn't showing up under All Discussions here, so I thought I'd start a new thread so that others could help us resolve the problem.
