Change username with OpenID/Google login

Hi, Is there a way to let users to change their name once they have logged in with the OpenID/Google plugins? I tried it myself and the name field is greyed out in the account settings. I looked in the dashboard, but didn't see any options for enabling this.
I was able to change the username in phpMyAdmin, so I know it's possible.
