Move posts from one discussion to another?

I'm struggling to manage/organize posts and discussions. The forum is fairly new and already I've run into situations where I've needed to:
a. Merge two discussions
b. Move a post from one discussion to another
c. Split posts from one discussion to create two separate discussions

Can I do these things in Vanilla? So far I haven't been able to figure out how.

    Make sure you use version 2.0.18.1 (beta) and then let's see if you can split, merge, etc.
