Windows Server install issues

edited June 2011 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8
With some development experience installing zencart onto a Windows server I tried the same with Vanilla.
Uploaded files to Windows Server root subdirectory, got error IISPassword, renamed .htaccess to 1.htaccess, new error - Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in \conf\config-defaults.php on line 16
I contacted my ISP to install and enable pod_mysql and now waiting to see what happens.

Has anyone else installed Vanilla onto windows server and come right...?

PDO is a php component so you'll need that too.

I used to develop Vanilla on WAMP and it worked fine.
  • Thanks, yea I got the ISP to enable PDO and now I get to the install screen and have a port issue now...see discussion you answered "change port connection from 3306"
