How to let posted URLs show up as text instead of a link?*

Just a quick one... probably obvious but

How do you stop all users from posting links? I would just like the URL's they place within a discussion/comment just to show as text and not actually link through to the site.

    The link formatting is coded into the core right now so you won't be able to remove that without modifying the core. I'd suggest asking your users to not put the http:// in front of the links.
