Translated text doesnt show up!

I have downloaded a package consisting of definitions.php, captured.php and captured_admin.php and have translated a few lines in captured.php, i have then uploaded and properly enabled the translation in the dashboard, but the translation doesnt show up at the frontpage?

    I found a solution, cleared the cache and reenabled the locale!
