Suggestion: default to enable download and uploads by members
I've just installed the plugin and with the currently logged in user, I didn't see any way to upload a file. In another browser, I was logged in as admin, and there was a link to attach a file. This made me realize that the permission to upload was disabled.
With all other forum software, members are able to upload (and download, of course) attachments, and mostly everyone who's going to install this plugin will probably go through the process I described above. While there are use cases where it would be desirable that only admins can attach files, those would be rare.
I'd like to suggest that the plugin set the permissions such that members can upload and download, by default.
