Are addon authors automatically notified of new discussions on their addon?

Two days ago, I posted in the discussion boards of 3 locale addons that they were miscategorized as plugins. No reply yet.

Are addon authors notified (by e-mail) of new discussions on their addons?

    No.
    It's been asked already, and the answer, it will be a good thing, but no time yet to code it, but as always, pull request will be accepted.

    It's not up to the addon owner to re-categorize the addon, an addon editor (with proper permissions) might be able to re-categorize the addons.
    Give it some time, Dan. These guys are really really busy to push out an important update for vanilla.

    Thanks, UnderDog. Hopefully re-categorizing is easy, and @Todd could have a quick look, as he did when he removed some bad addons on Monday.
