help needed on uploading themes, plugins to my forum
I am a newb to Vanilla Forums. I would like to add a theme & maybe more. I have downloaded some but none have a readme file with instruction. I need instructions on which files need to be uploaded to my forum and where. I know there must be some details here somewhere ,but I can not find any.
Remember I am a newb and old, so please give some easy to follow instructions..Thanks,man

Todd Vanilla StaffIn your example you unzip the pockets plugin where you should be left with a folder called Pockets which contains all of the files you need.
Upload this Pockets folder to your servers /plugins folder. After that is done you go to your Dasboard then Plugins where you should see the plugin ready to be enabled. You'll notice at the top of the plugins page it should tell you the folder to put the plugin into.
Themes are installed in much the same way, but they go into your /themes folder.0

From http:://yourforum.com/dashboard/settings/themes To add a theme, unzip the downloaded file in that folder.
Lets say I want to install the addon "Pockets", I download to my PC and unzip it, I see it contains 2 PHP files, 1 jscript file, 1 DS_STORE file, and 1 PNG image file.+ 3 folders (design, views, and locale), the design folder has a cascading style sheet doc in it, views folder has 3 PHP files in it, and locale has 1 PHP file.
-- Now what do I do with all this, upload it to where ? all of it ?
Once again, I am sorry if I am making this hard to explain to me.
