Feature Request: Subscribe only to certain categories

I have a site where I do occasional release new software updates and post them to a specific category. It would be great to be able to force all users to subscribe only to a certain category. For example, in the Dashboard under the plugin, have a way to select one or more categories that auto-subscribes all users to it.
