Apple has filed patent for a touchscreen to be used in a range of devices, one of the applications... tablet computer. This hints that Apple might enter the Tablet Pc market with their own sexy sleek.     they've also registered some mobile domains/patents as well... maybe a whole new line of handheld apple thingies next year?

    Ive been looking forward to an apple tablet PC for a while now... I would totally love it if they gave their new notbooks that functionality... think of it. -- open it up and its a laptop computer, 15" or 17" swivel the screen around 180 degrees and close the top to have a fully functional tablet PC. oooooh, it gives me shivers. -Brad

    Apple applies for patents on things that they don't actually intend to produce all the time.
