I have downloaded and extracted files

Hello. I'm using a Windows XP Laptop, and I have downloaded V. 2.0.17.10 of VanillaForums for this laptop. I have went in and extracted the files. Is there supposed to be a set up program or something in one of the folders? I've completed the Files Extract Wizard TWICE and still nothing.

I've visited both of those links, trying to install Vanilla on my localhost, and have even viewed the video. Unfortunately, I cannot understand it. On my localhost I have created a database entitled 'vanilla', on my hard drive I have extracted the vanilla files, but that's as far as I get and then I am lost.

I am such a newbie! I'm a wiz at html and at css, but at this - I'm all thumbs!
