Linkification Equivelent?! :)

I use the Firefox extension myself so often forget to link URLs properly, as do others. Is there anyway to create an extension so when you enter... for example:

http://g.tehjunkyard.net

It'll be clickable?

by default, if you format your url's as just Text, ie : http://google.com , Vanilla will link it up for you. As for any other formatter, you're on your own with creating the link.
