Extend Category URL
I've done a bit of research but to no avail. I'm curious whether we can change the Category root URL, as well as add addition categories to the URL.
For instance, instead of making the category url: forums.com/forums/categories/parentcategory
I'd like to make the URL: forums.com/forums/parentcategory
Further more, something seems to break when you do this:
forums.com/forums/category/parentcategory/childcategory
by default, it forces every category (even children) to:
forums.com/forums/category/childcategory
I'd like to achieve for flexibility with this issue, i wasn't able to find a plugin or any known fixes for this. Anyone have any ideas or info? Thanks!
