Translating time

Hello. I'm almost done translating Vanilla forum to Serbian language, but I have a tiny problem.. how the hell do you translate the timing ("...days/hours/minutes/seconds ago")? Either it's a PHP time function or I'm blind and/or dumb, 'cause I don't see it in the language file. Thanks.

Comments

  • Nevermind, I just found out it's in Library/Utility.Functions.php. You might wanna think about adding it to the language file.
  • /me tosses it into the bugfix list

It's already been fixed for the next revision - along with all of the other translation bugs that existed in 092.

Thanks guys. Keep up the good work. By the way, how painful will it be to upgrade to stable 093? And will the extensions have to be rewritten, since they don't work the other way (beta 093 > 092)?

The upgrade will be easy enough - there will be an upgrade script and detailed upgrade notes. *Some* of the extensions will already be rewritten when it launches, but I can't say all because I didn't write them all. I am, however, working on a nicer way of browsing, managing, and downloading extensions. So, it will be easy enough to get the latest extensions for vanilla 1.
  • mark, Can I safely flush some of these bugs from the buglist? providing that they're in the *fixed/corrected* category on the wiki? I'm not sure if you've been removing them or not, but I think it might be time for some pre-spring cleaning to capture 9.3 bugs and move the existing ones to a seperate 9.2 bugs category unless they're persistant.

You make the Serbian translation! Oh man, I love you. This is great. Did you finish it, and where can I get it? Best regards Nikolic Vladimir
