embed email confirmation error
Hey there,
I have a forum using embed, and all is working fine apart from the confirmation email link. It links to the root vanilla URL rather than embed page, and when the user gets forwarded from the root install (which says "thanks for confirmation") to the embed page, an error message displays: "We couldn't confirm your email. Check the link in the email we sent you or try sending another confirmation email."
Yet looking at the account the user is confirmed.
So how to avoid this error message? And preferably have the email included the embed URL, not the root vanilla URL?
(and yes, I have "Force your forum to be viewed through the Remote Url" checked)

Hi,
I'm trying to do the same thing.
Relay appreciated if you post what modifications you did.
Thanks.
As per above post: open class.usermodel.php file, and change the php code for URL to hardcoded URL.

thank you
That only fixed the main link to the forum, how can we updated the confirmation link as well? Thanks!
the problem still exists.
Is there a way to fix it?
@deefe007 : which line you've edited (class.usermodel.php)?
read through this discussion and see if it helps.
