As you might update the BlogThis plugin?
Quite a while ago trying to find a portal to the forums, so if you stop using wordpress, is a blog-style website which displays a summary of the news by category, despite looking far and have found some blogs I found a very according to what many require:

So I would like to know if is possible to update plugin and files should touch or try to change to upgrade, considering that its author gave up all his work in version 1 of Vanilla.
