Custom Fields Plugin

I noticed on Vimeo Vanilla has a video talking about the custom fields plugin. This would be an A+ plugin to help build a community but it is nowhere to be found. The AboutMe plugin does not work with the current Vanilla version and I'm stuck on getting my own custom fields inserted.

Vanilla Gods please help.
