Using users from my website

Hi there,
I would like to embed Vanilla in my website, which is a little community portal. I don`t want the user to have to login multiple times. Is there a way to connect the usermanagement somehow?

Could I either grant a user access to Vanilla if logged into the portal, using the same username and other data?

use the jConnect plugin. Make sure you read through the documentation, as you will have to build a script to connect to your community portal if a plugin doesn't existing for it already.
