[gitHub Bug #1213] Re edited posts , delete tags. Is there a fix ?

I posted this question a week or so ago, within another post.

Basically, if I start thread xyz and add tags to it, all is good.
But if I pop back and edit that post, even just a spelling error, and update, the previous tags are deleted.

Any fix for this , best would be to restore tags using cookies or fetching them from db so they appear in the tags input, so that when I re save edit, the tags get updated.

I appreciate as it is, is fine if some is posting spam with tags.. But not fir general usage.

Thanks ste
